About this mod
Prevents the installation of Skyrim AE from blocking the resaving of previous saves. Old saves and old chars still work fine, unmodified USSEP 4.2.8 also works fine. Detailed instructions attached. Permissions and credits Credits and distribution permission Other user's assets All the assets in this file belong to the author, or are from free-to-use modder's resources Upload permission You can upload this file to other sites but you must credit me as the creator of the file Modification permission You are allowed to modify my files and release bug fixes or improve on the features without permission from or credit to me Conversion permission You can convert this file to work with other games as long as you credit me as the creator of the file Asset use permission You are allowed to use the assets in this file without permission or crediting me Asset use permission in mods/files that are being sold You are not allowed to use assets from this file in any mods/files that are being sold, for money, on Steam Workshop or other platforms Asset use permission in mods/files that earn donation points You are not allowed to earn Donation Points for your mods if they use my assets Author notesThis author has not provided any additional notes regarding file permissions File creditsThis author has not credited anyone else in this file Donation Points systemThis mod is not opted-in to receive Donation Points  Skyrim AE Survival Mode Fix(and "Fix All")by Dreifels Arthmoor's version of Unofficial Skyrim Edition Patch 4.2.8 has dependencies not only to Skyrim game version 1.6.640, but also to the four cc-content ESPs and by that all saves made before no longer working, you need to start the game new with a new char.The reason is the mod “ccQDRSSE001-SurvivalMode.esl" If you load a save made before the Upgrade of Skyrim SSE and installation of the “ccQDRSSE001-SurvivalMode.esl", the load of former saves looks fine in the first moment. However, when you load an older save after the installation of the “ccQDRSSE001-SurvivalMode.esl" you got for free with the Upgrade and then make a new save of that, this save is truncated, no way to repair. This means: all old saves, your old char with the level you made within long time playing, your followers, your outfit, clothes, home, etc. etc., all what is stored in the save, is lost. This is not related to the SKSE version, this is a save thing and caused only by that “ccQDRSSE001-SurvivalMode.esl" Because Arthmoor made in his USSEP version 4.2.8 dependencies to the four CC-mods coming for free with the AE-Upgrade, you cannot run the USSEP if you want to keep your former saves well. This is hard for users which not got the game new and start new, but for all who already have a fine working installation, a char with a level, followers, etc. - All wasted. It is a simple decision of the user if he wants to keep his old saves and char and cannot run survival mode, or if he wants to run the survival mode for the price of loast all made before. There is no step back possible! Black or white!
